Al Nabooda Automobiles is the authorized dealer and exclusive distributor of Porsche, Audi, and Volkswagen in the UAE, operating five premium showrooms and service centers across Dubai, Sharjah, and Fujairah. Established in 1976, the company is recognized as the world’s largest Porsche dealer by vehicle sales and operates the largest Volkswagen service center globally.

The Challenge

As a luxury automotive dealership, Al Nabooda Automobiles needed to ensure a safe and secure environment for customers, employees, and high-value vehicles. The challenge included preventing theft, minimizing damage across showrooms, workshops, and parking areas, and managing security across multiple locations. Executive management also required a centralized physical security system with remote monitoring capabilities, reliable performance in extreme heat, and the ability to use video analytics to evaluate customer flow and service efficiency.

The Solution

To meet these requirements, Al Nabooda Automobiles partnered with Amir A. Kolahzadeh of ITworks, LLC, a Dubai-based network systems consultancy specializing in design-and-build security solutions. The implemented system featured Arecont Vision megapixel cameras deployed across all dealership locations.

The solution included:

SurroundVideo AV8365DN and AV8185DN 8-megapixel H.264 cameras, delivering 360-degree and 180-degree panoramic views
AV1125IR 1.3-megapixel H.264 MegaView IP cameras, featuring day/night capability, varifocal lenses, weatherproof housing, and infrared support

These cameras eliminated the need for mechanical PTZ systems, reduced camera count, and delivered detailed coverage of large areas.

Implementation

Cameras were strategically positioned throughout showrooms, sales floors, workshops, service entrances, parts storage, and parking areas. A centralized security control center allows authorized personnel to remotely access live and recorded video from all locations. High-resolution imaging enables detailed monitoring, including viewing small part numbers in stockrooms and tracking parts movement between storage and workshops.
